20 Last-Minute Camping Gifts

Looking for a last-minute camping gift? Well, look no further than camping gear. Whether you looking for a base camper, glamper, or ultralight backpacker, this list has something special for someone on your list. (Or even for yourself if we’re being honest…)

These items aren’t necessary for a great camping experience, but they are cool gadgets. Can you see yourself using them? If not don’t worry—we’ll set the scene for you, so sit back, relax, and escape to the woods.

You planned an autumn camping trip for yourself to get away from the everyday and into the great outdoors. With the camper van loaded you head for the nearest national park. You have a side quest to check off another park on your National Parks Scratch-off poster. (Have you thought about giving someone an Annual National Parks Pass? Just a thought.)

You hit the road, windows down, and listen to the sound of your Wind Chime Glass flowers. Your mom gifted them to you last Christmas. At the time you didn’t think they matched your ride but they’ve grown on you. When the sunlight shines through them it casts little rainbows all over your space making you smile.

The sound of the chimes intensifies as you turn onto a pitted dirt road headed for your campsite. You hope that everything is secured when there is a crash from the back of your van. The pieces from your beautiful 4-in-1 Wooden Board game set scatter all over the floor. You felt extraverted when you packed that and plan to make a friend over a game of checkers.

Once you’ve reached your site it’s time to tidy up the game pieces and make this space your home away from home. You plan to hike down to the river tomorrow and want a cozy space to come back to. You grab your garden lights and place them by the door of your van. The warm glow of these solar-powered lights casts planetary patterns on the ground. After setting up camp it’s time for some supper and a movie. You pull out your Spice Kit and Infrared Grill and load it up with flavorful vegetables and your protein of choice.

While that’s cooking you set up your movie spot. Out comes the Bluetooth Projector and Portable Heated Blanket. As you flip open your blanket your Airpods fly through the air and hit the ground with a splat. You rush over to see the damage and to check if you need to start searching for lost earbuds. Then you remember the new case you got for them. It looks like a fishing tackle box and has a secure clasp that keeps it closed even when flying through the air. Well, that’s a relief.

When the food is done you settle down to enjoy a movie all warm and cozy. You’re happily eating when some of your veggies fall off of your fork and onto your favorite band shirt. Normally you’d pre-spot your shirt and throw it in the wash. But you don’t happen to have a washer with you at the moment. However, you did bring an ultrasonic cleaning tool. You place the device and your shirt in water with a little bit of soap and let the gadget do its thing.

The next day is hiking day! You pack up and head down to the river for a cold plunge. You have a backpack full of gadgets ready to be used on the trail. After the cold plunge, you walk up to the bank of the river to enjoy the sound of the water and get warmed up. Your Solar Heated shower bag was warming up while you were in the water and is now ready to provide a warm rinse-off.

After you’ve dried off you hang up your wet stuff on an Ultralight Camping Hook and set up your Biolite Stove to brew up a cup of tea. While this compact stove can charge your phone you don’t need a charge currently and set to work lighting a campfire with your plasma lighter. Comfy and warm with your fire, a hot cup of tea, and your Waxed Canvas Blanket around your shoulders you can tend to the scrape on your hand. It’s nothing bad, just a scrape from gathering kindling, but it does sting so you pull out your Antibacterial Pine salve to help keep it clean after cleansing.

The tea was soothing but you’ve found yourself needing more water after today’s exercise so you reach for your UV Self Cleaning Water Bottle. Finding it empty you head down to the river to get some water. Standing up you hear a noise behind you. Some kind of animal is nearby. You dash over to your pack and grab out your Electronic Bear horn. You’re in doubt that this animal is a bear but it’s hard to see in the dark so you pull out your Solar Pop-Up light to get a better view of the situation.

Holding up the light for a better view of the rustling bushes you see eyes staring back at you. You are about to sound your bear horn when Sneaky Steve the raccoon comes out of the woods to join you by the campfire. You use your hand-crank radio to listen to some soothing music and watch the stars together.

There you have it! Do you see the picture? We certainly can. Note that we are not sponsored by any of these products nor are they affiliate links. We just think that these camping gadgets are awesome and we hope that they make it into your last-minute shopping spree.
